Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2026.
This policy explains how Lifeline Community Chapel (“the church”, “we”, “us”), Access Temple, Meduma, Ghana Bar, Kumasi, Ghana, collects and uses personal information when you use this website. We follow Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and, where it applies to visitors in the European Union or United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible
Lifeline Community Chapel is the data controller for information collected through this website. Contact us about privacy at bismark904@gmail.com or on 0248 120 002.
2. What we collect
- Messages you send us through the contact, prayer, chat or live-panel forms: your name, optional phone number or email, and your message.
- Sermon notes you type on the Live section are stored only in your own browser. We never receive them.
- Your cookie choice, stored in your browser so we don't ask again.
- Basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) that our hosting provider records in server logs for security and to prevent abuse.
- Administrator accounts: invited church administrators sign in with an email address so they can manage the photo gallery.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your message, pray with you, or help you plan a visit (with your consent, or because you asked us to).
- To keep the website secure, for example by limiting repeated submissions (our legitimate interest).
- To manage the photo gallery (administrators only).
4. How your message reaches us
When you send a form, it is emailed to the church inbox and WhatsApp opens on your device with the same message. If you choose to send it on WhatsApp, it is handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy. Messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and care for you, and then deleted.
5. Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the website. They process data on our behalf and may be located outside Ghana:
- Vercel (website hosting and photo storage)
- Clerk (administrator sign-in)
- Our email delivery provider (forwarding form messages to the church inbox)
- YouTube and Google Maps (embedded videos, live chat and maps; only loaded after you agree, see our Cookie Policy)
- WhatsApp (only if you choose to send your message there)
6. Photos and children
Photos in our Gallery are taken at church services and public events. We take care when publishing photos of children and only do so with the permission of a parent or guardian. This website is not directed at children under 13, and children should only send us a message with a parent's permission. If you would like a photo of yourself or your child removed, email bismark904@gmail.com or call 0248 120 002 and we will remove it promptly, normally within 7 days.
7. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. We will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.org.gh) or, in the EU/UK, your local data protection authority.
8. Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, the admin area is invite-only, uploads are restricted to images, and forms are protected against spam and abuse. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version, with its date, will always be on this page.
